HI7004
Hi7004L is a standard calibration solution at pH 4.01.
These standard solutions have the batch number and the expiry date indicated on the label and are supplied in a well-sealed bottle which guarantees the quality of the solution.
Hanna standard solutions have been formulated to last up to 5 years from the production date if the bottle is not opened.
HI7007
HI7007L is a pH 7.01 calibration standard solution produced in accordance with ISO 3696 / BS3978 standards using pure salts, deionized water, certified scales and Class A glass materials, in an environment with temperature controlled by certified thermometers.
The values shown have an accuracy of +/- 0.01 pH at 25 ° C and refer to the NIST standards (Standard Reference Materials - SRMs).
HI70300
HI70300L is a storage solution that can be used to ensure optimal performance of the pH and ORP electrodes.
It is necessary to keep the pH electrode in the solution to keep the sensitive glass membrane hydrated.
Never store the electrode in distilled or deionized water.
The Hanna Instruments storage solution is formulated to minimize microbial growth and to prevent diffusion/osmosis effects between the solution and the electrolyte inside the electrode.
Preservation of the pH and / or ORP electrodes will also keep the porous septum clean.
In this way it will be possible to guarantee fast and reliable measurements.
We recommend immersing the electrode in the HI70300L storage solution for at least two hours before taking measurements.
HI7061
HI7061L is a general purpose cleaning solution that can be used for various applications.
The electrodes can become dirty during use, producing inaccurate results.
Hanna cleaning solutions eliminate impurities and residues present on the electrode surface, which are formed during measurement or when it is stored inappropriately.
HI70031
It is recommended to regularly clean the bulb and the porous septum of the electrode to prevent blockages and obtain precise measurements.
The most common cause of inaccurate pH measurements is an improperly cleaned or dirty electrode.
This is very important because during calibration the instrument assumes that the electrode is clean and that the standardization curve created during calibration will remain a valid reference until the next calibration.
The pH meters available on the market today have an offset value of approximately ± 60 mV with a deviation that should not be greater than ± 30 mV. Calibration compensates for the change in the offset value.
If the mV offset continues to deviate and the instrument is calibrated with a dirty electrode, the readings will be inaccurate.
Cleaning is a quick and effective procedure that must be performed regularly to avoid using a dirty electrode and to prevent the porous septum from clogging.
Immerse the electrode in the HI7061L cleaning solution for 15-20 minutes to remove deposits or coatings.
Batch number and expiration date in each bottle.Hanna cleaning solutions retain their pH value if the bottle is not opened.
