ReBalance KH+ Fluid is a mixture of salts for the replenishment of total alkalinity (generally referred to as: "KH", from the German term KarbonatHärte).
In the aquarium, the replenishment of total alkalinity, separate from that of total hardness, may be necessary on specific occasions.
In particular when there is something in the tank which unbalances the chemistry of the water in favor of the concentrations of Calcium and Magnesium (GH) (for example dolomitic rocks or with the presence of gypsum).
Or when something (for example an allophanic substrate, loaded with H+ ions) breaks down the bicarbonates dissolved in water.
